So far the winter is off to a mild start.  Highs in the mid 40's, Lows in the 20's.  We haven't had much snow at the Ranch, but the mountains have had as much as 30", so the ski season opened early.

There's lots to do in the 4-Corners area in the winter.  Mesa Verdi has selected sites open, the Durango-Silverton Train runs to Cascade Canyon, and also has a Polar Express Run for families.  see www.durango.org for Winter activties in town.

Things quiet down at the Ranch.  Its time to relax by the fireplace in the evening, and spend some quality time with family and loved ones.  We are open all winter, including Christmas week.  So come out and join us...we'll have a fire goin' when you get here.
